About Us

CommTech Systems, Inc. is a California State Certified Small Business DVBE (Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise DGS No. 41194) as well as a Certified SDVOSB (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business).

 

CommTech Systems develops and provides engineering support for wireless SCADA applications by providing wireless network system integration, site surveys, and installation for traffic and AMR sensors. We provide CALTRANS wireless networks that collect and process traffic data. In addition, we provide onsite technical support for wireless (802.15.4) network installations. We also provide integration and system support for RFID tracking and monitoring.

 

CommTech Systems provides network engineering services and support to the US Navy SPAWAR PACIFIC Command.  A major project is the DHS ACSD (Advanced Conveyance Security Device) program. This program is designed to provide cargo security assurance for container shipments; and other conveyances through US Ports of entry.

 

 

The CommTech Systems senior management team has directly been involved with the biggest conflagrations in Southern California’s history. As well as developing Anti Terrorist/Force Protection (AT/FP) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Plans for Federal Agencies. 

 

CommTech Systems wireless network systems provide SCADA applications the ability to connect to remote sensors, and to inexpensively tie networks together.  Currently CommTech is providing system engineering and integration services for wireless networks to the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) by installing intelligent Java enabled modems in traffic data cabinets.  These IP addressable networks provide a bi-directional connection to any number or type of metering device.  We are automating the sensor collection for traffic monitoring, by providing the wireless infrastructure that links the Traffic Management Center with the traffic censors embedded in the freeways and roads.  CommTech conducts site surveys; it provides for signal analysis, validation of sensors, and installation and maintenance services.
